Workshop Title: Wheatpasting for Beginners
Description: Learn art of large posters. Decoy, one of the most prolific DC artists will share the tricks about pasting them on the walls and more.

Date: January 24, 2010 (2-4pm)
Workshop Title: Drawing Graffiti Art
Description: Ultra will guide you through graffiti art in DC. You will get chance to draw your own style and draw it large. This class is prerequisite for all aerosol lessons this semester.

Date: January 31, 2010 (2-4pm)
Workshop Title: Colorful Science and Art
Description: Peter will talk about physics of colors and how it applies to artists. Together, we will split sunlight into rainbow and explore relationship between its colors.

BENEFIT PARTY FOR OUR CLASSROOM

The Fridge Hosts the Albus Cavus Classroom Campaign on Friday, 1/15/2010, 8 - 11 PM. The Fridge is located at Rear Alley, 516 8th St SE, just two short blocks from Eastern Market Metro. The fundraiser features DC's favorite Indie / Folk / Experimental musician Aaron Thompson. Suggested Donation: $20 ($125 Supports One Student Scholarship for a Month), Cash Bar.

Join Albus Cavus, The Fridge, and Aaron Thompson to raise funds for the new Albus Cavus Classroom, where creativity is the core subject. We want to encourage hundreds of DC kids to become active and engaged residents by empowering young artists with the creative skills to improve our neighborhoods.
